Casualty Claims Adjuster – Non-Standard Auto and Bodily Injury | Dallas, TX Direct Hire

Insurance Placement Solutions has an immediate opening for a Casualty Claims Adjuster with our client. As a member of our client’s claims team, utilize your knowledge of non-standard claims to independently investigate, evaluate and resolve assigned claims in order to achieve appropriate outcomes. In this position, you will administer and resolve claims in a timely manner in accordance with legal statutes, policy provisions, and company guidelines.

Casualty Claims Adjuster Responsibilities

• Plan and manage claim investigations, primarily handling physical damage claims in Texas, Illinois, and other states; including interviewing all involved parties, collecting/ evaluating documentation, and securing evidence
• Analyze obtained documentation and evidence, evaluate coverage, determine liability and extent of damages
• Effectively document records, update status notes, results of external information gathering and other relevant reports and opinions
• Process payment of claims
• Work well with others in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience handling multi-state non-standard auto and bodily injury claims as a claims adjuster
• Solid adjusting background with an understanding of policy coverage, automobile claim investigation, and negligence laws
• Experience handling 3rd part auto liability claims
• Previous experience handling Texas non-standard claims
• Litigation experience is required

Licensing

• Must have an active Texas adjuster license
• Additional state licensing is preferred

Education

• A high school diploma required or equivalent
