Claims Adjuster – Inside Homeowners Property | Hybrid Direct Hire

Insurance Placement Solutions has an immediate opening for a Hybrid Inside Homeowners Property Claims Adjuster with our client in the San Diego, CA area. As a member of our client’s claims team, utilize your knowledge of residential property to independently investigate, evaluate and resolve assigned claims in order to achieve appropriate outcomes. In this position, you will administer and resolve claims in a timely manner in accordance with legal statutes, policy provisions, and company guidelines.

This is a hybrid position that is partial in-office and partial remote

Inside Homeowners Property Claims Adjuster Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles assigned claims in accordance with Best Practices
• Provides quality claim handling and superior customer service on assigned claims, while engaging in indemnity and expense management
• Promptly manages claims by completing essential functions including contacts, investigation, damages development, evaluation, reserving, and disposition

Experience

• 3+ years of experience handling 1st party residential property claims as a desk adjuster
• Experience as a staff adjuster with a carrier and/or TPA

Licenses

• New York Adjuster License is required

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
