Property & Casualty Client Manager I

Insurance Placement Solutions (IPS) has an immediate opening for a Property & Casualty Client Manager I with our client. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located within the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.

In this role, you’ll manage and service a portfolio of commercial Property & Casualty accounts in partnership with Risk Advisors and senior client service professionals. You’ll support clients throughout the policy lifecycle, including new business, renewals, marketing, coverage analysis, policy servicing, and ongoing account management.

Property & Casualty Client Manager I Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing needs for assigned commercial Property & Casualty accounts
• Handle policy servicing activities including binders, certificates, evidence of property, auto ID cards, endorsements, invoicing, audits, claims, cancellations, and policy reviews
• Manage new business and renewal processes for assigned accounts
• Review risk management surveys and identify potential exposures to loss
• Advise clients regarding appropriate insurance coverages
• Develop account marketing plans in collaboration with Risk Advisors and senior client service professionals
• Prepare and submit new and renewal business to insurance carriers
• Prepare client proposals and negotiate coverage terms and pricing
• Work with underwriters to obtain information necessary for placement and renewal
• Partner with Risk Control on complex or significant risk control and claims issues
• Review contracts and leases for insurance and risk-related requirements
• Maintain strong client and carrier relationships throughout the policy lifecycle
• Explain billing and payment requirements to new and existing clients
• Provide backup support for client service activities as needed
• Assist with training and technical guidance for other client service team members

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Property & Casualty client management or commercial insurance account management experience
• Experience managing new business and renewal processes
• Experience marketing accounts and working directly with insurance carriers and underwriters
• Proficiency with standard business and insurance agency applications

Preferred

• Commercial insurance experience supporting Real Estate accounts
• Commercial insurance experience supporting Professional Liability accounts

Licensing & Certifications

• Active California insurance license required
