Commercial Auto Property Damage (PD) Adjuster

Insurance Placement Solutions (IPS) has an immediate opening for a Commercial Auto Property Damage (PD) Adjuster with our client. This is a temp-to-hire hybrid opportunity supporting a fast-paced auto claims team.

This role may be based out of the client’s office locations in Arizona, Michigan, Texas, Florida, or Indiana. Candidates with Texas or Florida jurisdictional claims experience are required, and multi-state jurisdictional experience is strongly preferred.

Commercial Auto PD Adjuster Responsibilities

• Handle Commercial Auto Property Damage claims from assignment through resolution
• Support a fast-track auto claims team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Investigate coverage, liability, and damages for commercial auto losses
• Review and apply policy provisions, including MCS-90 endorsements when applicable
• Evaluate intrastate and interstate commercial auto claim considerations
• Maintain a pending caseload of approximately 50–100 claims
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, vendors, appraisers, and other stakeholders
• Negotiate and resolve claims within authority guidelines
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and timely file updates
• Manage multiple priorities with urgency, accuracy, and strong desk management

Qualifications

• Commercial Auto Property Damage claims experience required
• Texas or Florida jurisdictional claims experience required
• Multi-state jurisdictional claims experience preferred
• Working knowledge of MCS-90 endorsements required
• An understanding of intrastate versus interstate commercial auto claims is required
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced claims environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide personal equipment for the contract portion of the assignment

Compensation

• Pay rate up to $33.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Arrangement

• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• Hybrid schedule with three days per week in office
• In-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Office locations may include Arizona, Michigan, Texas, Florida, or Indiana
