Senior Commercial Auto Litigation Adjuster

Insurance Placement Solutions (IPS) has an immediate opening for a Senior Commercial Auto Litigation Adjuster with our client. This is a fully remote direct-hire opportunity available to candidates nationwide.

In this role, you’ll manage a complex caseload of litigated Commercial Auto Property Damage, Liability, and Bodily Injury claims from investigation through resolution. You’ll evaluate coverage, direct litigation strategy, negotiate settlements, and deliver quality claim outcomes while working with clients and defense counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

Senior Commercial Auto Litigation Adjuster Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of litigated Commercial Auto Property Damage, Liability, and Bodily Injury claims.
• Investigate claims, evaluate liability and damages, and determine appropriate claim strategy.
• Analyze policy coverage and make sound claim decisions based on policy language and applicable laws.
• Manage all aspects of the litigation process, including coordinating with defense counsel and developing resolution strategies.
• Establish, monitor, and adjust claim reserves throughout the life of each claim.
• Negotiate settlements within assigned authority while achieving timely and equitable claim resolutions.
• Communicate claim activity, recommendations, and case strategy with clients, insureds, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service while managing a technically complex litigation caseload.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience handling litigated Commercial Auto claims.
• Strong experience handling Commercial Auto Property Damage, Liability, and Bodily Injury claims.
• Experience handling multi-jurisdictional Commercial Auto claims.
• Experience managing complex or high-exposure litigation files.
• Experience managing litigated claims from inception through resolution.
• Knowledge of commercial transportation exposures and commercial auto coverage issues.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Licensing

• An active adjuster license in Florida, Texas, and New York is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain additional adjuster licenses as needed for a national Commercial Auto claims desk.
