Commercial Auto Property Damage Claims Adjuster

Insurance Placement Solutions (IPS) has an immediate opening for a Commercial Auto Property Damage (PD) Adjuster with our client in a hybrid capacity. This is a temporary opportunity supporting a fast-paced auto claims team. In this role, you’ll handle commercial auto PD claims, managing a moderate caseload while delivering timely and accurate claim resolutions.

Commercial Auto PD Adjuster Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of commercial auto property damage claims from first notice of loss through resolution
• Investigate claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages
• Evaluate and process claims efficiently while maintaining a strong sense of urgency
• Communicate with insureds, claimants, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process
• Negotiate settlements and ensure timely payments within authority limits
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and updates in the claims system
• Ensure all claim handling complies with applicable state regulations and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Experience handling commercial auto property damage claims required
• Prior experience handling claims in Texas or Florida jurisdictions required (multi-state experience preferred)
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50–100 claims

Licensing

• An active Texas adjuster license is required
