Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster | Nevada license

Insurance Placement Solutions (IPS) has an immediate opening for a Remote Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster with our client. In this role, you’ll be an essential member of the claims team, utilizing your expertise in workers’ compensation to independently investigate, evaluate, and resolve assigned lost-time claims. You’ll manage claims in accordance with Nevada statutes, policy provisions, and company guidelines to ensure timely and accurate outcomes.

Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster Responsibilities

• Investigate reported claims and determine injured workers’ eligibility for workers’ compensation benefits
• Administer indemnity and medical benefits for accepted workers’ compensation claims
• Manage the progression of claims through collaboration with physicians, nurses, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Ensure all file handling complies with Nevada statutes, client guidelines, and industry best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide timely updates throughout the claim lifecycle

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience handling lost-time/indemnity workers’ compensation claims
• Previous experience handling Nevada workers’ compensation claims required
• Strong understanding of workers’ compensation statutes and claims processes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and meet deadlines

Licensing

• Active Nevada Adjuster License is required
